SELECTED BIBLIOGRAPHY ON NUCLEAR PHARMACY PRACTICE

(currently out-of-date: last revised 9-1-94)

PURPOSE

In preparing for the Nuclear Pharmacy Specialty Examination, familiarity with a broad range of nuclear pharmacy-related topics is advisable. Although nuclear pharmacists possess knowledge in many topic areas from their training and experience, knowledge in some topic areas may be deficient due to its recency and/or its lack of applicability in the pharmacist's specific practice setting. Therefore, as an aid in the preparation for the Specialty Examination, the Scientific and Professional Affairs Committee of the Section on Nuclear Pharmacy Practice of the American Pharmaceutical Association has compiled this selected bibliography. These publications were chosen to highlight many knowledge areas that are generally considered to be important in the practice of nuclear pharmacy in a variety of settings. This listing is not intended to be complete, but merely provides a sampling of information from various sources.
