NUCLEAR EDUCATION FACULTY POSITION

POSITION:  This faculty position is to support the Nuclear Education Online (NEO) expansion of educational programs, including nuclear pharmacy, PET education, and nuclear cardiology.

QUALIFICATION: 

RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibilities are to serve as project director for the curriculum expansion funded by a Department of Education FIPSE grant, including but not limited to curriculum development, student recruitment, teaching; and scholarly activities. 

SALARY AND RANK: Commensurate with qualifications.  The successful applicant must qualify for the rank of assistant or associate professor, and the appointment will be in the non-tenure track.

NUCLEAR EDUCATION ONLINE: The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and the University of New Mexico (UNM) have developed an educational consortium to provide specialized nuclear education for pharmacists, physicians, radiochemists, cyclotron operators, technicians, and other health professionals.
